FUNDING & DONATIONS We are a voluntary Order and receive no formal funding. We rely entirely on the generosity of benefactors. If you wish to help us in our good work, you can do so in many ways.
INDIVIDUAL DONATIONS Individual donations can be made by; POST: Please send to the address as shown in 'Contact Us.' Cheques/Postal Orders should be made payable to 'Karuna Bodhisattva Order.' PAYPAL: By using paypal you can make donations by using your credit/debit card, or by direct transfer from your account. PRIVATE & CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP/FUNDING As well as assisting us in the above fashions, we are also able to offer the opportunity for private individuals and commerce to help us in sponsorship and funding. This can be done in two ways: SUPPLIES/ASSETS Private individuals and companies can help us by donating/lending supplies and assets to the Order. This can range from stationery up to providing premises we can use as Temples/Centres. If you can help us in this way, please contact either the Order Principal or Order Secretary. SPONSORSHIP Private individuals and companies can sponsor the Order in many ways from Individual Ordinations to Order Temples/Centres. Examples of these are; Sponsoring a Priest/Monk for Ordination £750 This is traditional in Buddhism and covers cost of robes and other items needed to carry out their ordained function. Sponsoring a new Temple/Centre £250,000 Sponsoring the annual running of a Temple/Centre £35,000 Sponsoring a priest for one year £20,000 This can also include a Chaplaincy function to a third party, such as a school, wherever we are requested to provide such services Sponsoring a Buddhist Course £2,500 This enables us to provide courses free to anyone wishing to learn or study Buddhist topics or associated classes. Classes generally consist of ten 'students.'
